Modern Slavery Statement
Financial Year 2024
Our commitment to ethical business practices and human rights across our operations and supply chains.
Introduction
Delta Force Group is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in our business operations and supply chains. This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps we have taken during the financial year 2024 to ensure that slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in any part of our business.
Our Business
Delta Force Group provides integrated facilities management services across the United Kingdom, including hard FM, soft services, security, and cleaning. We employ directly and work with a network of approved subcontractors to deliver services across multiple sectors including healthcare, education, commercial, and public sector environments.
Our Supply Chain
Our supply chain includes providers of specialist maintenance services, cleaning equipment and consumables, security technology, uniforms and PPE, and staffing agencies. We recognise that certain parts of our supply chain may carry higher risks, particularly labour-intensive services and recruitment.
Our Policies
We operate the following policies relevant to modern slavery:
- Anti-Slavery Policy: Sets out our commitment and expectations for employees and suppliers
- Whistleblowing Policy: Enables confidential reporting of concerns
- Recruitment Policy: Ensures right to work checks and fair employment practices
- Supplier Code of Conduct: Requires suppliers to confirm anti-slavery compliance
- Pay Policy: Ensures all workers are paid at least the National Living Wage
Due Diligence
We undertake due diligence in the following areas:
- Verification of right to work documentation for all employees
- Supplier assessments including modern slavery questionnaires
- Contract terms requiring suppliers to comply with the Modern Slavery Act
- Audit rights over supply chain labour practices
- Ongoing monitoring and review of supplier relationships
Risk Assessment
We have assessed the risks within our business and supply chain. We consider the highest-risk areas to be agency labour, cleaning services, and overseas supply chains for consumables. We have implemented enhanced due diligence in these areas including regular supplier audits and worker welfare checks.
Training
All managers and HR personnel receive training on modern slavery awareness, including how to identify potential indicators and how to report concerns. This training is refreshed annually and included in new employee inductions.
Performance Indicators
We measure our effectiveness through:
- 100% completion of right to work checks
- Supplier compliance questionnaire completion rates
- Number of supplier audits conducted
- Training completion rates
- Whistleblowing reports received and investigated
