All Staff

- Respond calmly and follow instructions during emergencies

Fire Marshals / Emergency Response Team
- Lead evacuations and check designated areas
- Report to the assembly point coordinator
- Assist emergency services with information
- Account for personnel in their areas
Step-by-Step Guidance
Raise the Alarm
If you discover a fire or emergency, raise the alarm immediately using break glass points or by calling control.
Alert Emergency Services
Call 999 or ensure someone has done so. Provide clear information about the location and nature of the emergency.
Evacuate the Area
Follow evacuation routes, assist others where safe, and do not use lifts. Close doors behind you.
Assemble at the Muster Point
Go to the designated assembly point. Report to the person in charge and await further instructions.
Assist Emergency Services
When emergency services arrive, provide information about the incident, building layout, and any missing persons.
